CUSTOM gutter downspouts

Legacy Gutter offers Custom Smooth Downspouts for all Gutters in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine and surrounding areas.

Downspouts, also known as leaders or pipes, are key parts of a rainwater drainage system.

They are typically placed on the outside of buildings to direct rainwater from gutters to the ground or a stormwater system.

Standard downspouts are usually around 10 feet long, but they can be cut or connected with elbows to fit different building heights or landscaping needs.

The main function of a downspout is to stop rainwater from overflowing gutters, which can damage foundations, siding, and landscaping.

Proper installation and regular maintenance are important to ensure the system works well and keeps rainwater away from the building, preventing water damage or soil erosion.
